I have been asked more than once about what a birthday magic show for children involves. My presentation is highly visual featuring simple but great magical illusions that children ooh and ahh in wonder when they see them performed. The show usually averages 30 to 35 minutes (time is flexible) which is about the maximum length of a child's attention span for magic.
Volunteers will be needed along with an opportunity for the birthday child to help the magician in some special ways. Lots of guaranteed silliness and laughter always happens. A birthday magic show can be themed if so desired.
Here is a list of some of the tricks used: Instant Birthday Cake, Blowing out the candles, Magical Coloring Book, Birth Clock, Birthday Banner, Butterfly Production, Washing Machine Bag, Space Rocket Lesson, Making the Rainbow, Jelly Bean Surprise, Flower Extravaganza, Candy Store and the Never ending Water Bowl (Just a fraction of illusions available).
The grand hilarious conclusion lets the birthday child choose someone to be turned into a rabbit. After the magic show is over, I will make at least one balloon creation for all the children at the party along with a special balloon creation for the birthday child. The cost for a birthday party is $160. Mileage charges apply for destinations over 30 miles from Jackson, TN.
